Odor Controlling
Disagreeable smell is a typical side-effect of numerous compound, food handling and industrial applications. Odor is brought about via airborne particles or gases. To eliminate odor causing particles a fine spray can be presented which will either ingest or respond with the particles to kill smell. A number of various odor battling synthetic compounds can be sprayed.
Over the past ten years, RELAB nozzles have established a proven track record in controlling odors in landfills, transfer stations, rail yards and waste treatment plants.
There are three categories of treatments that can spray through nozzles to control the odor: coverants, deodorants, and absorbents.
- Coverant is a better-smelling substance sprayed to mask or hide the bad odor.
- Deodorant is a liquid used to chemically change or break down the aromatic molecules in an odoriferous area or air stream, effectively neutralizing them.
- Absorbent is a liquid that absorbs the bad odor of a foul-smelling gas stream into the liquid, reducing the potential odor of the remaining gas.
Water can often be used as an absorbent liquid depending on the odor source.
For example, In the atomization process, the odor eliminator is mixed with water, pumped through pipes/hoses and delivered via nozzles or fans to areas affected by odor. After the misting droplets are dispersed into the air they neutralize odors on contact.
The odor control nozzles from RELAB malodors effectively deal with all kinds of odors from materials, solutions or sewage, etc.
To eliminate any odor, RELAB provides a varity of nozzles for different systems, including fog connon system, high-pressure misting system, air atomizing system, fan atomization system, portable system and so, allowing adaption to every type of odor control program, including garbage compactors/trucks, conveyor belts, bio-solids dewatering, food waste processing, land fills, recycling facilities.
