What Is a Minimum Order Quantity?

We have a requirement for customers in terms of order quantity, because it involves cost, freight and long-term development of the business. Compared to other suppliers, our MOQ is really very small.
 

What is MOQ?

The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is the smallest order size, RELAB will accept when you order goods from us. It can be expressed as a quantity, although some suppliers work with a minimum order value.
Determining the minimum order quantity for each product is an important part of the inventory planning process for us. The aim is to minimize shortages and maximize profitability. Inventory consumes much of a business’s cash flow; MOQ aims to strike a balance between having enough to fulfill orders without tying up too much cash and so MOQ meaning will vary in quantity and technology.

By setting minimum order quantities for us, RELAB sets parameters to make the orders worth their while. For one, the MOQ ensures the business is maximizing the amount it can ship at a given shipping rate, i.e. if shipping 40 PCS mist nozzles of an item costs the same as shipping 20 PCS of that item due to the weight ranges on shipping price lists, the business can reduce cost of shipping for each unit by requiring 40 PCS be purchased at a time.
 

MOQ for general industrial spray nozzles

For the general industrial spray nozzles, including flat fan nozzles, full cone nozzles and hollow con nozzles: the MOQ is 20 PCS of each item (large-capacity), the MOQ is 50 pcs for nozzles with flow below 0.5 lpm @3 bar.
 

MOQ for high pressure mist nozzles

     1. FD series mist nozzles: 40 PCS (brass or SS304)
     2. FD series mist nozzles: 200 PCS (SS316)
     3. FE series mist nozzles: 50 PCS (brass or SS304)
     4. FF series mist nozzles: 30 PCS (SS304)
     5. FG seires mist nozzles: 30 PCS (SS316)

 

MOQ for high pressure set-screw fittings

     500, 501,502,503,504 and 505 series: 20 PCS (brass or nickel-brass); 100 PCS of each item for SS304

 

MOQ for high pressure threaded compression fittings

     600, 601, 602, 603, 604 and 605 series: 20 PCS (brass or nickel-brass); 100 PCS of each item for SS304
 

MOQ for high pressure slip lock fittings

     700, 701, 702, 703, 704, 705 and 706 series: 30 PCS (nickel-brass or SS304); 200 PCS of each item for SS316
 

MOQ for high pressure PE/nylon tubing

     1. OD3/8" PE/nylon tubing: 100 meters per roll
     2. OD10mm PE/nylon tubing: 200 meters (2 rolls)
     3. OD12mm nylon tubing: 200 meters (2 rolls)
 

MOQ for high pressure SS304 pipe

     1. OD3/8" (9.5x1.0mm) SS304 pipe: 200 PCS (1.0m, 1.5m or 2.0m per piece)
     2. OD10mm (10x1.0mm) SS304 pipe: 200 PCS (1.0m, 1.5m or 2.0m per piece)
