Tobacco Moisture Control
As far as cigarette factories are concerned, from tobacco leaf storage, tobacco production, to rolling, these processes have high requirements on ambient temperature and humidity.
Tobacco leaf, cut tobacco and tobacco paper are highly hygroscopic, which means they lose moisture when the surrounding air becomes too dry. Dry air alters tobacco properties, causing it to shrink, lose weight, be brittle, flaky, crack, and tear. This will cause the cut tobacco to fall out of the cigarette, the cigarette paper to not be fed into the machine accurately, and the cigar leaves to crack.
Proper maintenance of the relative humidity of the surrounding environment prevents all of these problems, thus ensuring that the tobacco, paper and leaves maintain the desired humidity level; ensuring their quality and yield ensures adequate efficiency.
RELAB high-pressure mist humidification system, through a high-pressure pump, pressurizes the filtered water to 70-80 bar, and then sprays it through a ruby mist nozzle. The droplet size is 3-5 microns, and the humidification effect is uniform. The temperature and humidity conditions during the preparation and storage of tobacco leaves are met, and the quality and efficiency of tobacco production are improved.
Compared with large central air conditioners, RELAB high-pressure humidification system helps customers save at least 40% of electricity bills and 60% of maintenance costs.
