Paper Rolls Cleaning

RELAB provides various high pressure needle jet nozzles for rolls cleaning. Thin disc-type design saves installation space. These stream jet type high pressure needle nozzles are widely used in the cleaning of suction roll, jumbo blind roll, breast roll, grooved roll, couch roll and other paper machines in paper mills.

In paper industry, to maximize couch roll performance, thorough cleaning of the holes with a high-pressure needle jet nozzle should be performed on a routine basis. Some couch rolls are also equipped with internal box flushing showers that should be operated as necessary to keep the suction box clean. Also, the internal shell flushing shower should be used whenever the toll is turned without a sheet.

Maintaining clean surfaces of papermaking equipment is critical to operating a machine without defects and breaks. The paper machine wet-end is prone to deposition of scales, biological slimes, process additives, and fiber. The dryer section is prone to a buildup of grease, oils, and paper dust, which can become a flammability hazard. Coaters and size press must be clean to avoid sheet defects and breaks.
