Paper Trimming

In the paper mills, many spray nozzles are used for different applications including starch treatment, rolls cleaning, foam elimination, trimming and lubrication of the edges of the paper at the end of the production cycle.

RELAB's paper trimming nozzles are hydraulic spray nozzles. They are designed to produce a compact, solid stream of liquids to spray. Although the design is very straight forward, however, they are very useful when high impact cleaning is needed, or for some trimming/ cutting applications, especially in the paper industry.

In the process of paper trimming, the needed high pressures put an impressive wear on the nozzles thus expert wear-resistant nozzles are required. RELAB's trimming nozzles are made of 316 stainless steel body with an extended-wear ceramic or ruby spray orifice. The orifice with a ceramic/ruby insert version can operate the high pressures up to 200 bar ensuring a long service life and a high resistance to wearing. Their extra fine and clear non-turbulent solid stream have a high impact cutting force that makes them the best for this type of application.
