Design Features

Characteristics:

The principle of pressure air atomization nozzle is transport the pressurized liquid to the nozzle hole to mix with the pressurized gas, and the high-speed flowing liquid and gas rub against each other to produce a fine atomization.

Each nozzle is mainly composed of a connection body, an air cap and a liquid cap, relying on the air cap to control the spray pattern. The pressure flat fan air cap is a small grooved spray tip that is attached to the liquid cap by a retainer cap. Because the fluids are mixed outside of the nozzle, the external mixing air cap is more suitable to spray some viscous liquids with a big spray angle.

It produces 40~80 microns droplets with an excellent atomization effect. A finer spray can be obtained by increasing the gas pressure or decreasing the liquid flow. Compared to the siphon fan air cap, the pressure fan air cap produces a larger spray angle, denser spray particles, and a longer delivery distance.

Contstruction:

  • Multi-piece body with a pressure flat fan air cap
  • liquid supplied by pressure feed and fluids are mixed outside the nozzle
  • The models listed are machined from bar stock
  • Standard materials are PVC, PVDF, PTFE, brass, 303SS, 304SS and 316SS
  • All models are available in 1/8" and 1/4" female threads either BSPP or NPS

Typical Application:

  • Lubrication
  • Incineration
  • Foam control
  • Continuous casting
  • Chemical processing
  • Humidification and cooling
  • Flue gas desulphurization
  • Cooling castings and moulds
