Design Features
Characteristics:
Liquid Mixing Eductors (Eductors) are available in GFRP plastic (Glass-fiber Reinforced Polypropylene) or PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride). The eductors can pull in 4 gallons of surrounding solution for every 1 gallon pumped from nozzle input, so its circulation ratio of supply to discharge is 1:5.
Eductors are designed for "in-tank" applications. The Eductors operates on the principle of flow dynamics pressurized fluid is accelerated through the nozzle to become a high velocity stream that entrains tank contents and intimately mixes with them. This combined stream exits the eductors at a high velocity creating a flow field capable of causing additional agitation and mixing the tank contents.
Liquid Mixing Eductors use a unique venturi design which enable smaller pumps to circulate large volumes of tank solution. The Eductors are used to agitate or mix Liquids stored in tanks, pits, or sumps. They can often replace motor-driven mechanical agitators and avoid the maintenance associated with mechanical devices.
